Yesterday i was trying to upgrade my pc from 32 bit to 64 bit using windows media creation tool. i plugged in the usb and started the download process first it completed till 100% then again it started and stopped at 50% for 30 min more and i unplugged it and restarted. now the pendrive is not working. when i plug it it show you need to format before using it. but while formatting it shows Windows was unable to complete the ormat sometimes it says the pendrive is write potected. i have changed it from regedit and cmd easeUS partition but none work (lowlevelformat from hddl too) i tried clean from diskpart it says

"The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error"

While there is a possibility of a problem with USB, it sounds more like you simply have a bad flash drive. Try a replacement.

But it was working fine before but not when I removed it while installing windows media for 64 bit, why then only it stopped not before i transferred all my data.

Based on my own experience, some of these drives seemingly fail just by looking at them cross-eyed. Try a replacement.
