I have the latest RST driver, version 17.5.1.1021 installed. I am getting the same error message as in the "Root cause". The bug appears to remain in this latest RST version, preventing updating to Windows version 1903. When will Intel fix this bug?

The problem is the existence of the file iastora.sys, located in the windows/system32/drivers folder. Rename the file to iastora.tmp, then do your 1903 upgrade.
