I have installed the RST version 14.5.0.1081 , I am trying to use 4 SSDs, but it is only recognizing three. I tried to install the RST from the Intel download center website but it shows me an error, please find it attached to this case. I am using two external storage drives (Toshiba and WD) and one internal SSD (Scandisk), the one that is not being recognized is the Samsung SSD 960 Evo.
I am using the Magician Software that comes with the Samsumg SSD and it is recognizing all the SSDs.
Please find attached the system report from the RST.

Samsung 960 Evo's are PCIe (NVMe), so they're not handled by the iaStorAC / iaAHCIC driver(s). That is why they do not show up in the Intel Rapid Storage Technology management software.
I have an ASUS B250M-C with an Intel 600p 128GB PCIe NVMe SSD powered up here, and the same is true.
NVMe devices are handled by the Standard NVMe controller in Windows, or, in your case, I believe you can use the Samsung NVMe Driver listed on this page: http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/download/tools.html http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/download/tools.html

Hello lavounta,
That is correct, the NVME is installed in PCIe and not AHCI, I hope the driver provided by Gize2 can help you better with this SSD.
If you need to install the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology, I suggest you to download the one recommended from your computer manufacturer website as it is the proper one for your system.
Regards,
Ivan.
