for the verification of fatal/non-fatal interrupt in SATA:

If the PhyRdy signal dropped during the middle of a command, the HBA may have to be restarted. If the PhyRdy signal dropped outside of a FIS, neither the PxIS.IFS nor the PxIS.INFS bits shall be set.

Hello @muku_kr

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

In order to understand better your request could you please provide the following information?

1- Are you using Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) which is the product supported in this forum?

If yes, could you please provide the software version and the driver version?

How To Check the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) Driver Version >> https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000031599/memory-and-storage.html

2- Please provide details about the Intel® Products (Hardware and/or Software) that you are using:

If this is not regarding Intel® Products or Intel® RST, please provide more details so we can route you to the proper channel of support.

3- Could you please elaborate more on what you are trying to achieve?

4- If this is regarding Intel® RST, please provide the following reports:

4.1- Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) and attach the report to this thread to gather more details about your system.

  • Download the Intel® SSU and save the application on your computer: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows-
  • Open the application, check the "Everything" checkbox, and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
  • To save your scan, click Next and click Save.

4.2- System Reports for Intel® Rapid Storage Technology following the steps in this link >> https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000006351/technologies.html

Note: To upload and attach a file, use the "Drag and drop here or browse files to attach" option below the response textbox.
