Intel RST-Reset disk to non raid without losing data

Hello all, newb here with a question. Someone at our facility set a 1TB WD Elements to be used as Raid 1 mirror with C:. Not only that but it is also being used to store data. It looks like half is for raid and the other half for storage. Is there a way to "break" the raid setup but still retain data that was stored separately? I appreciate any help!

Here is a snapshot from bios

Hello dcotos,

I understand that you would like to know if breaking the RAID would keep the data intact or not.

In order to best answer your question I will need to request the Intel ® RST system report, you can check in the link below how to create a system report:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000006351/technologies.html https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000006351/technologies.html

After it is reported, please post it here so we can have a look.

Hello dcotos,

Thank you for your response,

Upon review of the information and research, if you go ahead and select "Delete RAID volume" that option should break down the RAID without any data loss, also the same information should be on both disks since you are using RAID 1.
