I have been getting this error since downloading and running the Intel Driver and Support Assistant. I have an Intel C220 series chipset SATA AHCI controller with Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4160T CPU @ 3.10GHz 3.10 GHz running on a Dell Optiplex 9020.
It appears the IAStorUI.exe needs to be reinstalled and the IDSA says everything is up to date. Where do I find the appropriate file download from Intel? Do I need to get that file from Dell or do I need to uninstall it altogether?

A guess, but you may have had the most recent RST version overwrite the one compatible with your 8 Series chipset. If this is the case, you may need to complete uninstall the RST version installed and then install an older version (and yes, best to get it from Dell if they offer it).
Hope this helps,
...S

I am assuming that Intel doesn't offer any legacy files....

Hello @Airwuf
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
We are checking this thread and we would like to know if you need further assistance. If you do, could you please provide the following information?
1- A System Report for Intel® Rapid Storage Technology following the steps on the link.
2- An Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) report to gather more details about the system:
- Download the Intel® SSU and save the application on your computer
- Open the application, check the "Everything" checkbox, and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
- To save your scan, click Next and click Save.
- Once you have saved the file (.txt file), please attach it to your reply.
To upload and attach a file, use the "Drag and drop here or browse files to attach" option below the response textbox.
Best regards,
Andrew G.

Hello Airwuf
We would like just to add that if the system comes with an Intel® C220 Series Chipsets, the Vertical Segment for these chipsets is "Server" and the support is only available through the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). We recommend contacting Dell* for Support.
We will proceed to close the thread now.
Best regards,
