On load Intel Rapid Start Technology Manager and every click on "Settings" menu entry i see that error message:
"An unknown error occurred while loading configuration information for Intel RST".
Then the application is running and after adjustment, but the laptop does not go away in deep sleep (RST sleep mode).
Reinstalling the application does not help. Before that Intel RST sleep mode worked well.
And can i use this technology without loading Intel Rapid Start Technology Manager?
I just want to turn on your laptop and use RST deep sleep mode later, i don't want to run RST Manager and to minimize the window to do that.
I use Windows 8 x64 on Acer M3-581TG (Intel HM77 Express), Intel Rapid Start version 2.1.0.1002.

Hello,
Up to this moment no version of Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology has been officially validated for Microsoft* Windows* 8.
We suggest that you check with your computer manufacturer directly for troubleshooting assistance using the operating system and drivers that they validated for your computer.

Thank you for your response.
I myself found the driver is technology enabled in the BIOS to support it. Again, the technology worked fine for a while. I do not think that the application would behave differently in Microsoft* Windows* 7.
From where the application loads the information? From the file? It seems that all the files, and even registry keys are deleted when you uninstall.
I am willing to provide useful information for problem solving.
ps Process monitor shows me that error when i see error window:
22:16:56,8317354 RapidStartConfig.exe 6536 RegOpenKey HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\CTF\KnownClasses NAME NOT FOUND Desired Access: Read
Then i create it:

You got the default response, like always.
You can download the drivers from another manufacturer, as they include drivers for multiple chipsets (one packaging). Of course it won't be "validated by your manufacturer", but they work as the ones your manufacturer could provide would do.
As Sergey pointed out, this is the driver for Intel Rapid STORAGE Techonology -> Here is the link: http://support.lenovo.com/en_IN/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS030998 http://support.lenovo.com/en_IN/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS030998. (This version is for Windows 8 RTM, dated on 26 Aug 2012)
This one is for the Intel Rapid START Technology: http://drivers.softpedia.com/progDownload/Asus-P8B75-M-LX-PLUS-Intel-Rapid-Start-Technology-1001031-Download-177173.html http://drivers.softpedia.com/progDownload/Asus-P8B75-M-LX-PLUS-Intel-Rapid-Start-Technology-1001031-Download-177173.html.
Here are the instructions on how to install it:
Always try to find the lastest version of the driver, it's less likely to crash your computer.
PD: @Intel: Your website doesn't work well with IE10.

yushir ,this is link to intel rapid storage driver, not the intel rapid start
Solved the problem by using a system rollback by Acronis TI.
I make https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8773661/irst-all.zip the backup of all my iRST registry settings, may be useful to someone.
And what about that?
And can i use this technology without loading Intel Rapid Start Technology Manager?
I just want to turn on your laptop and use RST deep sleep mode later, i don't want to run RST Manager and to minimize the window to do that.
or is it only works for me on Win8?
PD: @Intel: Your website doesn't work well with Chrome 21.0.1180 and Firefox 15.0.1 too.

I have the same problem on a freshly installed Windows 8 Pro (64 bit) System. Actually it was working for a while but now suddenly I get this error message again when trying to open the RSTE GUI (IASTORUI.EXE):
"An unknown error occured while running this application. If the problem persists, please restart your computer or try reinstalling the application"
Well, I've tried both and I still get this error. As of today I am using the latest package (V 9.3.0.1019).

I suggest you disabling Intel® Rapid Start Technology, deleting the partitions on the SSD, and following the steps in the user guide:
