I need some help with my raid.
Just a routine cleaning and dusting so took everything out and when plugging everything back in, got an error of "Unknown disk on controller unknown, port unknown: missing"
All drives are plugged in, but it seems that the controller cant recognise the drives?
I've attached a screenshot and the system report.
Not too tech savvy, but took a look at the report, not sure why the serial number has a ":0" at the end of the two disks that are not recognised.

Hello Chicken24,
The error message "Unknown disk on controller, port unknown: missing" typically indicates that a disk drive is not being recognized by the system. This can occur due to several reasons, such as:
- The disk might be physically disconnected from the controller or port.
- There might be a problem with the drivers that manage the disk or the controller.
- Incorrect BIOS or system configuration settings could lead to the disk not being recognized.
- There could be a fault in the disk itself or the controller.
To resolve this issue, you can follow these steps:
- Ensure that the disk is properly connected to the controller and the port. Re-seat the connections if necessary.
- Access the BIOS setup and check the configuration settings for the storage controller. Ensure that the correct mode (AHCI/RAID) is selected and that the ports are enabled.
- Make sure that the latest drivers for the storage controller and disk are installed. You can do this through the Device Manager in Windows or using this link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/products/55005/technologies/intel-rapid-storage-technology-intel-rst.html
- If applicable, use the Intel Rapid Storage Technology software to check the status of the disk and attempt recovery or rebuild operations. You can try reconnecting the disk and checking the status in the Intel Rapid Storage Technology interface. For reference, share the following articles: Degraded RAID Volume Won't Rebuild After Failed Hard Drive Is Replaced and How to Rebuild the RAID Array Using Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) from the BIOS
I hope this is helpful. Please keep me updated on the outcome.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.
