Why RSTe_AHCI_VROC_NVMe_Win_5.3.0.1413_2017.10.30 includes an ASM installation?

When installing the PSTe of the nodes of the specified package, you can also select the Intel Accelerated Storage Manager from the checkbox.

However, Intel ASM - User Guide is absent.

And I did not manage to launch the ASM.
