Will my RAID Aarray volume be okay after reformatting my non-RAID OS drive?

I want to reinstall Windows, but I am new to the world of RAID. I have a total of 5 physical drives (1 M.2 SSD drive, 4xHDD). The 4 drives are in a RAID 10 Array using RST, the SSD stands alone and hosts my Windows installation. I assume that it is safe to format (or replace) the SSD, and create a fresh installation of Windows. Once Windows is installed, along with RST, I should be able to see my array and its volume(s) again, correct?

Thank you for your time,

NuAngel

Hello Garrett Culver,

Thank you for contacting Intel Communities.

You are correct, there isn't any risk if you reinstall the OS or replace the M.2 SSD, the OS is not part of the RAID array so it is ok to reinstall.

Best Regards,
