Hello all,
I recently upgraded my computer to
Motherboard asus z370-e
G.skill 16gb rgb ddr4 3000
500gb ssd Samsung (C: drive)
250gb ssd Samsung
1tb hdd black WD
windows 10 pro
I noticed whenever I try to turn off the intel rapid storage technology in the bios of the asus motherboard I get a blue screen
that say "inaccessible boot device". However, when intel rapid storage technology is turned on it works and goes through the whole process
of the description of the intel rapid storage technology. I don't need intel rapid storage technology since I do not use any raid configuration and it
annoys me that I have to see that every time I boot up my hard drive.
Sincerely,
John

Jean,
I believe that, if you install Windows with RAID enabled, then you will need to continue to run with RAID enabled. If you want to have RAID disabled, then I believe that you will have to reinstall Windows in order for it to work.
Sorry,

The thing is that I never enable it on my old computer. I only transfer my windows key to the new computer and the Intel rapid storage technology is built in the
asus motherboard.

It doesn't matter; leave it enabled. It isn't going to hurt anything doing so.
