Hello,
I've been trying to install Intel Rapid Storage Technology to speed up my HDD with my SSD but i get the "This Platform Is Not Supported" error message when I try to install it.
My motherboard is an Asus P8Z68-V PRO and my CPU is an i5-2500K.
I'm running the latest public build of Windows 10.

Yes, your platform is not supported because your processor is not supported on Windows 10.

I did not say W10 would not run, I said it was not supported.
This is your (Sandy Bridge) processor:
https://ark.intel.com/products/52210/Intel-Core-i5-2500K-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_70-GHz Intel® Core™ i5-2500K Processor (6M Cache, up to 3.70 GHz) Product Specifications
This is a list of supported processors:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000006105/processors.html Does My Intel® Processor Support Microsoft Windows® 10?
You can run Windows 10 (for as long as Microsoft lets you), but there is no support.
Perhaps one of the Intel support engineers can provide a solution.
In the meantime, you should think about upgrading your platform to something that is supported.

Hello, NickX__. Thank you for joining the Intel Community.
In order to accelerate an HDD with an SSD, the Intel® Smart Response Technology should be used. In the following link, you can find the requirements in order to use this technology: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005501/boards-and-kits.html https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005501/boards-and-kits.html
By checking your system configuration, I can see that you are using an Operating System that is not supported for the Intel® Smart Response Technology.
Please make sure to follow the guidelines provided above in order to achieve the configuration you are looking for.
Additionally, you may want to try installing the 14.8.0.1042 version of Intel® Rapid Storage Technology. Here is the download link: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25165/Intel-Rapid-Storage-Technology-Intel-RST-User-Interface-and-Driver https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25165/Intel-Rapid-Storage-Technology-Intel-RST-User-Interface-and-Driver
