Hi
my license is expired now. it's a student license for Intel® Parallel Studio XE Cluster Edition for Windows. how can I renew it?

Hi Samaneh! generally, student licenses or free licenses cannot be renewed. They can only be reapplied for.
However, I would like to let you know that Intel® has transitioned from providing Intel® Parallel Studio XE as a free tool to providing Intel® oneAPI Toolkits as a free tool. Re-application for a new student license of Intel® Parallel Studio XE is not possible any longer since it has become a legacy product now. However, this transition from Intel® Parallel Studio XE to Intel® oneAPI Toolkits delivers additional capabilities through existing tools and new tools.
The Intel® Parallel Studio XE Cluster Edition product suite maps to the equivalent Intel® oneAPI Toolkits: Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit + Intel® oneAPI HPC Toolkit.
The Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit and the Intel® oneAPI HPC Toolkit are available for Windows*, Linux*, and macOS*.
· Qualification – No qualification is required.
· Support – All Intel® oneAPI Toolkits are available at no cost and include Community Forum Support. Community Forums
· Licensing – Install and run the tools under the terms of use found in the End User License Agreement. No license files are needed.

Hi
thanks for the response. I need to work with ntel® Parallel Studio XE Cluster Edition 17.06
the link you said is the latest version. How can I use the same old version that is compatible with the software that I used for my research.
and for a license as long as I realized I don't need a license anymore. the new version does not need to enter the license. Am I correct ?
Hi Samaneh, I am writing to reply to your response here and for the similar query regarding re-application for the product version mentioned here. Please note, Intel® Parallel Studio XE Cluster Edition 2017 is an older and unsupported version. It is on the verge of deprecation. I have still checked for the version you are looking for. However, that product update has already been removed from our product license download list. For more information on the unsupported and supported product versions, kindly visit the below link:
Looking into your second query, it would require a valid license. Yes, it is true that our licenses are backward compatible which means older product versions would work with a license. However, there are two important factors to note here:
However, as mentioned in my previous reply Intel® Parallel Studio XE is a legacy product now. If you still require the legacy product Intel® Parallel Studio XE, the only way to get the suite is by purchasing a commercial or academic license for Intel® oneAPI Toolkits. You may contact our resellers or visit our website for more information regarding the purchase.

Hi Sam, re-applying or renewing for the non-commercial license of the legacy product is not possible. However, the only way left, to get Intel® Parallel Studio XE suite is by purchasing a commercial or academic license for Intel® oneAPI Toolkits.
