6-Drive Hot-Swap Non-expanded Kit AXX6DRV3GR using lsi 9280-8E Raid controller ?

noticed that 6-Drive Hot-Swap Non-expanded Kit AXX6DRV3GR fully supported with Intel raid controller PS2P1008 which is equivalent to LSI 9280-8E (except maybe firmware difference)

 

Therefore i would like to ask if it is possible to swap between an Itel controller PS2P1008 and LSI 9280-8E to achieve the same perforamce?

Hello,

 

 

Although we have not validated the LSI 9280-8E with our non expander backplane Intel does not foresee any compatibilities, issues or performance impact.
