Adaptec 3405+SR1600URHS+ASR1500SASBP Doesen't work

Hi, everyone!

I've got my server with SR1600URHS motherboard and ASR1500SASBP backplane. On this configuration i want to install ESXi5, but i cant, because ESXi don't wish to work with embedder raid wich that motherboard carry.

So i installed adaptec 3405 on PCI slot and want to configure it, but unfortunatelly, this controller can't see hard drives connected via backplane.

How can i configure, something to make 3405 work with hard drives?

ASR1500SASBP has its built-in SAS controller, and it doesn't work with any add-in RAID controller. You'll need a passive backplane ASR1500PASBP to work with add-in RAID controller.
