I have an Adaptec 6405 controller which I want to use with Intel Board DBS1200V3RPS. But the controller gets not detected by the board, it just does not appear while starting the system. I am using latest BIOS (BIOS02020005) for the Board. I am using Slot 5 (PCIe x8). Is there anything I can do on this?

I was checking the validation list for this board and I could not find this model listed. Intel always recommends using validated components to avoid unforeseen issues.
You may use our https://serverconfigurator.intel.com/exalt/MyPartsServlet?iMethodID=4&dataset=IntelTHOL&basefilters=column1_IN_S1200V3RPL_AND_column3_IN_P4308RPLSHDR&title=Options%20Page&hidedisabled=y&bypass=y Tested Hardware and Operating System List document as a reference.
You may also want to disable the Quiet Boot option in the BIOS to see if the RAID controller is starting up while we are getting the splash screen.

Thank you, disabling Quiet Boot Option did the trick, Controller BIOS does now appear. I tried to remove the Intel boot screen by pressing ESC previously but this did not work.
Also very nice tool at https://serverconfigurator.intel.com/ https://serverconfigurator.intel.com/ - I will definitely bookmark this one
