I have a Intel S1200SP server which gives the following error when booting:
Warning: BIOS supports basic functionality for this CPU type. Update to the latest BIOS required to enable full functionality and minimize erroneous system operation. Press any key to continue.
The CPU is an Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1240 v6 @ 3.70GHz.
Which firmware do I need to update?

Hello SilverNodashi,
Thank you for contacting Intel Customer Support.
I understand that you are getting an error message when running the Intel® Server Board S1200SP with the Intel(R) Xeon(R) Processor E3-1240 v6.
Upon checking the list of supported processors for the Intel® Server Board S1200SP, it only supports the Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1240L v5 and Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1240 v5. It does not support the Intel(R) Xeon(R) Processor E3-1240 v6.
You can confirm this information here: https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/88263/intel-server-board-s1200spl.html#@compatibility
Our recommendation will be to test a fully compatible processor on your system.
Best regards,
Sergio S.

Hi.
The server runs fine. These serves are being used in a data center.
Is it possible to disable the error message, so the server can at least start up without user intervention?

Hello SilverNodashi,
We appreciate the additional information, can you please let us know if you start getting the error message as soon as you installed the Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1240 v6 on the Intel® Server Board S1200SP? or the error shows even if you test a different processor?
We will be looking forward to your updates.
Best regards,
Sergio S.

Hello SilverNodashi,
You can upgrade the BIOS from 02.01.0049 to bridge version 03.01.2032 then 03.01.0038 then 03.01.0042 then 03.01.0049 (Latest)
