Hello visirs,
Thank you for posting your question on this Intel® Community.
If I understand correctly, you would like to disable advanced technologies such as Intel® Hyper-Threading Technology or Intel® VT-x from BIOS.
- Is there a specific reason why you need these technologies disabled?
- Are you working on a project?
In addition, please confirm the following details:
- The system model.
- The Intel® Visual Compute Accelerator model.
- The BIOS version running on the system and card.
- The OS running on the host and the card.
Regards,

Hi,
The host model is intel x99 chipset made by ASUS,with an intel xeon e5 2650v4 CPU 2*16GB RAM,host OS is Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.The VCA model is VCA1585LMV,VCA software version is 2.3,the BIOS version on card is 2.3,EEPROM is 2.3.On card OS is Windows10 1903(baremetal).
And for the purpose to shut the Hyper-Threading is for our server,it need the highest stability and single core perfomance,it doesn't need double cores but every Ghz is important for it.
May we solve it?
with regard.

Hello visirs,
We would like to update this thread.
Disabling Intel® Hyper-Threading or Intel® VT-x from visual BIOS for Intel® Xeon® processors E3-1585L v5 of an Intel® Visual Compute Accelerator VCA1585LMV is not supported. The Intel® Visual Compute Accelerator does not have any development resources around this configuration.
What we can recommend is that you review the Intel® Visual Compute Accelerator Product Family Software Guide, which contains the current implementation available.
Please let us know if you have further questions about this information.
