Corei7 920 - Server 2008 & Hyper V

Is the Intel Core i7 920 2.66Ghz a virtual processor that can be used with Server 2008 - Hyper V for a test bench system. I need to set up a test lab for virtual training with Server 2008 and 4 other Guest OS's. This is not a production system - just for learning and preperation for certification exams and testing system. system will have 12GB DDR3 Memory, Asus P6T Intel X58 Socket LGA 1366 Motherboard.

Hi there,

To be honest, i have not used Windows 2008 with Hyper V on this system, but i cannot see any reason why it wont work. So far, i have tested the system with VMware workstation and installed windows 2008 on the vmware, it worked fine. I enabled the VT and VT-d in the bios.
