Two nodes are loaded into the chassis H2224XXLR3,the node Module is iPC – HNS2600BPB24R.

In BIOS advance , system acoustic and performance configuration, default value is acoustic, in this case, the system fans always maintains 6K speed, the rear side of the chassis accumulates heat, the CPU1 temperature is very high, the temperature of the optical SFP module reaches above 60 degrees, and can not work properly. But BMC has no alarm prompt.

Modified to performance value, the system fan runs at full speed, more than 13000 revolutions. The voice is very noisy.

Two Xeon silver 4214 processors are configured in the system, firmware version: S2600BP_EFI_BIOSR02010008_ME04.01.04.251_BMC1.93.870CF4F0_FRUSDR_1.39_DCPMM01.02.00.5346

Dear all: please dont close. We found another strange problem. After updating the whole firmware completely, from the BMC Web we can check that the "exit air sersor" sensor had output data, but when the server lost power supply and restarted power again, the "exit air sersor" sensor status showed Unknown, and the fan speed was not normal.

Hello DYu001,

Can you please let us know if this problem started after you perform the firmware update?

Please install and run the System Information Retrieval Utility (SysInfo) and attach the information.

Also, please let us know if after modifying the values the system temperature decreased.

Yes. Normally, after updating firmware, we would install the system and check the health of the system.
