Hello Alexander,
Regarding your question, "What might be wrong with an SR1640TH ".
First I will like to mention that this system is https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000020015/server-products.html EOIS (end of interaction support).
I will do my best to provide you with the best possible support.
This is the Technical Product Support https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/server-products/server-boards/R1000WT_TPS_R1_06.pdf manual page 29.
Does not mention a combination of amber and green.
But the closes to your description is Power Supply alert and that something is bad and might cause the system to shut down.
The best option will be to ensure that is clean and that the Fan is spinning properly.
Also to ensure and test I will recommend swapping the power supply to see if the problem is direct with the power supply or even the connector on the system board.
I hope this information helps.
If there is anything else we can help please feel free to ask.
Best regards,
Henry A.

Hi ! Old PSU starts blinking again. But this device now stands on non critical server...
We`ve tried to clean up PSU, but not enough time and we can`t open this part...

Hello Alexander,
Thank you for the updated information. Then you were able to test the PSU on another server and the blinking light followed the PSU.
I will recommend to try and clean it up or will need to be replace.
If there is anything else we can help please feel free to ask.
Best regards,
Henry A.

Hello Alexander,
I will like to follow up. Wanted to verify if you had the opportunity to test the PSU on another server and the blinking light followed the PSU or did stay on the server.
I will recommend to try and clean it up or will need to be replaced.
If there is anything else we can help please feel free to ask.
Best regards,
Henry A.
