Hello ODavi2,
Thank you for joining the community.
There are supposed to be 3 fans on each one of these nodes. On your BMC it shows 6 fans up and running and 6 not present. Let me ask you are there 2 nodes only on your chassis?
We will look forward for your updates
Regards
Jose A.

Hi Jose
We have about 200 of this servers. This chassis has 4 nodes as well as all other servers. Indeed it has only 3 fans but shows 6... this node’s mainboard was replaced about 1.5 years ago

Hello ODavi2,
Is this the only node showing this erratic fan info? If you access any of the other 3 nodes BMC console what do you see? Could you attach an image, please? Have you performed any BIOS updates recently? What firmware version is currently installed?
We will look forward to your updates
Regards
Jose A.

Hello ODavi2,
Thanks for the updates. Could you please tell what the current BIOS firmware version is in the affected node and/or attach a sysinfo log so we can analyze it for issues?
Will look forward for your updates.
Regards
Jose A.

Hello ODavi2,
The debug log you attached is password protected and we do not have the password since this logs are usually used by engineering only. Even though I was able to see the FRU file ID version is v1.0. If this is the case then the BIOS firmware on this node could be really old. You can go ahead and update the BIOS to the latest v01.01.0028 with FRUSDR v1.16

Hello ODavi2,
As part of the troubleshooting suggested by our engineering team we need to gather the sysinfo log from the node showing the issue and from one of the healthy nodes.
Could you please get these sysinfo logs and attach them here?
We will look forward for your updates.
Regards
Jose A.
