It is very hard to understand what you say. What error did you get? What is Intel IDA?

Could you please confirm the exact model of the RAID controller you are using? You mentioned that you have tried other Operating Systems, do they failed in the same way as 2012?

We need to see if we are able to capture any error message from the system that would help us understand what might be causing this.

Additionally, please include information of your configuration to have an idea which components are installed in your system.

It is correct, the current image of the Intel(R) Deployment Assistant (IDA) does not offer the option for the unattended installation of Windows 2012R2.

David,

Yes. The IDA version is a 3.6 and don't offer option Windows 2012. But, offer option windows 2008 R2 X64 and yet don't work it.

Only in Windows 2003 R2 it works correctly. When I tried update using Windows 2008 R2 Datacenter was error 0x8007000d.

My server is a Intel server Board S5520UR (SR1625USRASR is a chassis model).

My RAID controller is a LSI 1078. (Internal module).

Thanks a lot.

How do you access your RAID BIOS? Is it a CTRL+C or CTRL+G? The information you provided is for the chipset of the RAID controller. I was wondering if you could provide us with the exact model of the controller.

I found information about the error code but it makes reference of issues activating the product. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2230957 0x8007000d. How far does it get in the installation?

David, I access my RAID BIOS using CTRL+C.

When it's up "LSI Corp Config Utility" getting:

Version LSI Config Utility: 6.26.00.00 (2008.10.14)

Adapter: ALMP

PCI BUS 0D

PCI DEV 00

PCI FNC 00

PCI SLOT 00

FW REVISION = 1.27.190.00-IR

Controller Model.: LSI SAS1078-IR Firmware= 1.27.190.00-IR

Thanks

Thank you for the clarification. In this case we are using the Active SAS midplane as your RAID controller. Now, going back to the original issue, could you tell us at what point or stage the Operating System install fails?

You can download the RAID driver https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/18267/Intel-IT-IR-Entry-Hardware-RAID-driver-for-Windows- here.

Hey David, good afternoon.

Sorry for the delay to answer your message.

David, i tried to use this procedure if you write to me, but couldn't actualize my RAID Controller.

I made a download then you help me. It cann't install in nobody OS (Windows 2008, Windows 2008 R2, Windows 2012, Windows 2012 R2), It's detect a selected driver during installation, but don't install. I send an error image below.

When i installed Windows 2003, works it.After this, I updated to Windows 2008 Enterprise, but I don't update to Windows 2012 or Windows 2008 R2.

Thanks a lot

Based on the screenshot you added it seems that you might be using the wrong driver for the RAID controller. It seems you are using the ESRT2 driver version 16.03. However, you are using the CTRL+C RAID controller which uses https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/18267/Intel-IT-IR-Entry-Hardware-RAID-driver-for-Windows- Intel® IT/IR Entry Hardware RAID driver for Windows*
