Hi,
I am using an intel server S2600WT2
I am trying to update the firmware (not with EFI shell and USB stick)
The server is running CentOS 7
I downloaded the firmware and transfer the zip file to the server using ssh
What's next?
How can I run this action? is there any workaround that can be helpful for me?
Thanks!

Hello gilad,
Thank you for joining the community
Currently there is no way to run a firmware image file directly from the OS. What you can try is the One Boot Flash Update Utility (OFU) https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29654/Intel-One-Boot-Flash-Update-Intel-OFU-Utility?product=78562 . This utility will allow you to run the OFU image online within the OS and will take effect on the next reboot. You can download the OFU firmware image from this URL: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29898/Intel-Server-Board-S2600WT-BIOS-and-Firmware-Update-for-Intel-One-Boot-Flash-Update-Intel-OFU-WinPE-?product=78562
For instructions and how to use documentation go here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005949/server-products/server-systems.html
Hope it helps
Regards
