How to use RES3TV360 with RMS3CC080?

I am using RES3TV360 with RMS3CC080?

In this case, the sdataout signal didn't come from RES3TV360 to Disk backplane?

When I connected the disk backplane to RMS3CC080 directly, the sdataout works well.

How can I solve this?

Hello 연홍000,

Can you please provide us the model of the server board that you are currently using?

Please provide us a picture of the layout on how you are installing the Intel® RAID RES3TV360

Finally, can you please specify what are you referring with "sdataout signal"?

Thank you a lot. My test configuration is here. Intel S2600WFT + Intel RMS3CC080 + Intel RES3TV360 + My designed Disk BP. “sdataout” means, as I know, the signal comes from host to target. So, in this case, the signal doesn’t comes from RES3TV360 to My designed Disk BP. So, the Activity LED doesn’t work. Thanks Hong

Hello 연홍000,

Our expander cards have been designed for Intel Server Systems and backplanes and we have not tested with 3rd party or custom backplanes.

Have you been able to use this configuration in the past?

Additionally, we cannot guarantee compatibility with third-party backplanes.

Thank you for your support. I want to know how to identify your DISK backplane in Intel’s system? It means do you have any special signal to identify your backplane in sideband? My DISK backplane connected to RAID controller with SGIPO only. Best Regards Hong
