I see the disk, but I cannot install the operating system Windows Server 2016. The server hangs during the installation of the operating system, when accessing the SSD NWME.

Hello Sergio! The server is remote, tomorrow I will check if the motherboard BIOS was updated. Is there a reason that the SSD DC P4610 Series (1.6TB, 2.5in PCIe 3.1 x4, 3D2, TLC) cannot be bootable? The installation of Windows Server 2016 hangs after the logo appears, Ubunta Server is installed, but after rebooting the server, it does not boot.

Hello realcomp,

You should be able to install Windows Server 2016 without any problems, is this an image or an installation from scratch.

Have you tried a different operating system just for testing purposes?

Now, you mentioned that Ubuntu servers were installed, do you have it on the SSD DC P4610 Series or a different hard drive?

Hi, Sergio

The problem has been resolved. 2 SATA disks are connected to raid controller and raid1 is configured. 1 NVME disk is connected to the motherboard, the motherboard raid settings and VMD parameters are disabled in the BIOS. Installed Windows Server 2019 and Ubuntu Server 16.04.7. The topic is closed, thanks for your support. If you have any questions I will write.
