I want to upgrade S2600WF MB's to the latest BIOS revision. The BIOS I am currently at is 00.01.0004. Do I need to upgrade the BIOS in steps with all the releases between 00.01.0004 and 02.01.0008 or can I just upgrade to 02.01.0008?

Hello MKnit,

Thank you for joining the community

According to the system requirements shown on the BIOS download section you will need the following:

"System hardware and firmware requirements

To update the system firmware stack to the versions included in this update package, the currently loaded system firmware stack on the system must meet the following:

  • System BIOS: 00.01.0016 or later
  • ME Firmware: 04.00.04.393 or later
  • BMC Firmware: 1.90.0cf6e935 or later
  • FRUSDR: 1.90 or later"

To install 00.01.0016 you will need 00.01.0015, 00.01.0014, 00.01.0009 and 00.01.0004 (your current).

Hope this helps
