I would like to know if Intel Desktop Board D915GAV is compatible with Dual Core 2.6ghz processor? Plz lemme know!!

I have D915GAV motherboard and took a dual core 2.6 ghz processor, i wanted to know if its compatible!

Thanks for your question. Looking at the http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d915gav/sb/CS-026958.htm Processor Compatibility Chart, I don't see any Dual Core processors listed, so it seems the answer is no. Take a look at the link to determine which processors have been tested and are compatible with the D915GAV Desktop board. Let us know if you have any other questions.
