Hi,

I have 2 similar servers with SROMBSASMR. When I try tu test remove 1 drive from server A position 1 and give it back to the same place (server A position 1) --> I become "Foreign Unconfigured bad". Then I change it to "Foreign Unconfigured Good". When i try to import Foreign configuration over Intel RAID Web console 2 i become "Import Failed"
When i try use CmdTool2
CmdTool2 -CfgForeign -Import -aALL
Failed to import foreign configuration on controller 0.
FW error description:

Hello Elgr,
I noticed that we have a similar question on a thread /thread/54297 "RAID problem – server DOWN" we are currently posting further information on it. I will invite you to visit it for more information about this topic.

Hello, thank you for your feedback.
It is a completely different situation. Models servers are the same, but physically not.
The problem in the other thread has nothing to do with this.
Thank you for your help.

Thank you for the clarification. Let me take over from here on this one. I noticed on the screenshot you sent that the drive is still showing with a foreign tag "(Foreign) Unconfigured Good". The RAID controller won't be able to import the configuration as it does not understand what the role of the drive is.
Could you provide us with a screenshot of the possible actions of the same drive now that it is "(Foreign) Unconfigured Good"?
