Host is up (0.000017s latency).

Thank you for contacting Intel Customer Support.

Can you please provide us the model of your Intel(R) serverboard? Is this complete system or this is part is part of an Intel(R)chassis?

Hello Mark,

Thank you for the additional information, can you please also provide us with the version of the Intel® Active System Console ( ASC) that you are currently using? This is because, the latest version was released a couple of years ago and we need to confirm if it is going to work in 7.3

Regards.

Hey Sergio, thanks for helping out. I am fan install from this file "ASC-8.0-21.tar.gz"

I read the readme and did all the prerequisites. Even still I had to install a couple of libs, then the install completed with warning to edit hosts file.

Everything seems to run except oob_handler and I am assuming that is the service that generates listening on 9393.

One more point, is that in the log file for the service not running:

Tue May 23 08:06:01 CDT 2017 :- Sanity check on required ASC services ---

lighttpd : Stopped

ascpolicy : DEAD

Restarting ascpolicy...

Hello Mark,

Thank you for contacting Intel Customer Support.

I was checking the release notes for the Intel® Server Board S2600CP and I don't see your operating system listed as supported for the Intel® Active System Console, you can check https://downloadmirror.intel.com/26711/eng/Intel_Active_System_Console_Release_Notes_v8_0.pdf here for more information. Now, we are going to try on our end to reproduce your issue and we will let you know if it works or of we encounter any issues; however, please keep in mind that the situation may be related with the operating system.

We will keep you posted of our findings.

Best regards.
