Hello sevm,

Hope you are doing fine.

The Intel Modular Server - MFSYS25 is discontinued since October 2010, we do not support it anymore. But do not worry I will do my best to help you out.

Do you have the latest firmware?

Can you share the Sysinfo log from the server?

Best regards

Hi,

Thanks for the reply!

I am well aware of the discontinuation of the IMS.

Still i can't find any solution to it.

I also have the latest firmware and all addon packages activated.

Where do i get the syslog from? (I am very new to this tech)

Also does the configuration through console have more feautures then the management GUI?

Hello sevm,

You may want to check the Events tab to see what is being recorded in there. It is possible that there may be a degraded state in one of the components which could lead the fans to run at full speed.

For this, I would recommend performing a complete chassis power cycle. This means to turn off all of the servers and then pull the power plug from the power supplies. If the situation persists, you could capture a complete Diagnostic file to see what is being recorded.
