I have installed the latest Intel Raid Web Console 2 (15.05.01.00) on a Server 2012 R2. The motherboard is a S3210SH.
I get a "Server could not be found because server may be down or server not installed in the host system" when I click on Discover Host with the correct IP address. Just trying to connect to the local server.
It worked fine on Server 2003R2 with an older Web console version.
Any help would be appreciated

You need to update RAID drivers first, https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24637/-ESRT2-RAID-Windows- Download ESRT2 RAID driver for Windows* . Also, check that Raid Console service is added into exclusions in Windows Firewall with Advanced Security in Incoming connections rulelist.

Thanks for the quick pickup on the question.
I have downloaded the Raid drivers as you suggest but all my devices are fine in device manager. I even tried to update the Intel(R) Desktop/Workstation/Server Express Chipset SATA RAID Controller drivers from those downloaded in the link but it said the best driver was already installed. I am just trying to run the Console to connect to the local server, not from another machine. It is all resident on the same server.
I even turned the firewall off totally and then tried to run the Console with no change.
Any other ideas

Intel(R) Desktop/Workstation/Server Express Chipset SATA RAID Controller
This means that your system now configured to Intel RST RAID codebase, not LSI/ESRT. For RST you should download and install https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25165/Intel-Rapid-Storage-Technology-Intel-RST-RAID-Driver Download Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) RAID Driver , and use RST console. Web Console works only with LSI RAID codebase.

You are entirely correct. Went to the Bios and it is Intel Matix Storage that is selected in the SATA Raid Option. I downloaded the software but it does not support 2012R2, only up to 2008.
Is there an easy way to swop to the LSI option without having to install the machine again? If you convert the drives to NON raid it will wipe the data, assuming it is the same if you change Raid controllers.

You can easily switch from RAID-1 to Non-Raid and then remake the array in ESRT mode.
I downloaded the software but it does not support 2012R2, only up to 2008.
Thats strange, 2012 R2 support is stated in software description. What king of error you get?

OS: Windows Server 2003*, Windows Server 2008*, Windows Vista*, Windows XP*
This gave me the error of "operating system not supported and then exited". Is there another Utility that I can try to control the Intel Matric Storage Raid setup?
Just to clarify the type of controllers available: When I select RAID under the SATA configuration in the BIOS, I can choose LSI or Matrix. Where does ESRT fit in? Is this not available on this motherboard?
To summarise
If I change the drives to NON raid and then change the mode to LSI and then recreate the Raid 1 arrays, there should be no data loss?

Matrix Storage was renamed to Rapid Storage (RST), so you can try install RST package.

I am trying to find another RST package but at https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/61097/Intel-Server-Board-S3200SH-Family Downloads for Intel® Server Board S3200SH Family there is no other RST product that can use.
Please send me the hyperlink that you are looking at so that I can test.

As it must, but will not nullify disk. You should always consider making a full backup before any RAID changes, BTW.

All worked fine. No data loss.
I change the drives to NON raid and then change the mode to LSI and then recreate the Raid 1 arrays. Needed to boot into Safemode once and then all worked.
The Raid Web Console 2 now works perfectly.
