Can anybody please tell me if this board will support Xeon E5472? It's basicaly the same as 5470 but with 1600Mhz FSB instead of 1333.

ps. Intel site show S5400SF as the only board supporting 5472 - is it true or some kind of mistake?

It's true. Because the 5400 chipset supports 1600MHz FSB, while the 5000X chipset only supports 1333Mhz FSB.

So, 5472 wouldn't run at all, or run with lower frequency?
