Hello Salvador,
The Intel® Server Board S1200SPL is indeed compatible with the Intel Xeon E3-1245 v5, you can confirm this information https://ark.intel.com/products/88263/Intel-Server-Board-S1200SPL here.
Please help us provide some additional information in order to narrow down your problem:
1. How many beep codes are you getting? Please check the https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000006001/server-products.html POST Error beep codes for Intel(R) Servers article, for additional information.
2. Can you please provide your memory part number?
3. What's the wattage of your power supply?
4. Is this a new installation or was your system working before?
Best regards,
Sergio S.

Hello Salvador,
The beep code sequence 1-5-2-1 means that there is a CPU socket population error, please make sure that your processor is properly seated on the server board.
Also, test your system without any memory, you should have 3 longer beeps, this means that the server board is detecting your processor.
You can also test your system using one memory DIMM, and make sure to populate the one that is closest to the processor
Are you getting any lights or fan activity when you try to turn your system on?
Have you tried testing different components on your system?
What is the wattage of your power supply?
Best regards,
Sergio S.

Hi Sergio, by resetting the bios I have managed to make the motherboard not beep. I have been able to install windows server but when turning on the PC some LEDs light up.
- The system status ley is blinking green.
- The upper nibble, leds # 4 # 5 # 6 # 7 is blinking amber
- The lower nibble leds, leds 3# # 0 solid green
What happens?

Hello Salvador,
Please check the https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/server-products/S1200SP_TPS_R1_1_S1200SPL_S1200SPS_S1200SPO.pdf technical product specification in order to find the different meanings of the system LED indicators. Page 89.
If you are getting a solid green means that your system is ready to boot.
The blinking amber lights mean that the system is operating in a degraded state with an impending failure warning, although still functioning.
Best regards,
Sergio S.

Hello Salvador,
When you turn your system are you getting any fan activity?
Have you tried testing a different power supply and memory?
Test also your system with no memory, you should get 3 long beeps, this means that the desktop board is detecting the processor and is checking for the memory.
Best regards,
Sergio S.

I have tried to remove the memory and that the desktop is detecting the processor.
When you turn on your system if the fans work, and and the green LED blinks.
I tried testing a different power supply and memory, but with the same result.

Hello Salvador,
I hope you are doing well today.
Thank you for your update. Based on the information you provided, can you please proceed and test the server board out of the chassis?
Basically, you put the server board on an isolated surface and test it first only with the CPU, it should give you a beeping sound. Then test it with one memory stick at a time.
Please let me know your results.
Best regards,
Jeremiah A.
