Intel® Server Board S2600WFT will see pci raid controller rsp3dd080f

I have a new

Intel® Server Board S2600WFT

and a new RSP3DD080f which is compatible with the board but it will not detect the card

i have upgraded the server to the latest Bios and the card still will not show up

Regarding your question, installed a RSP3DD080F and is not been recognized.

 

Also, you have mentioned is running the latest BIOS.

 

Could you please provide me the configuration you have setup right now:
  • Number of processors.
  • Memory configuration.
  • PCI port the RSP3DD080F is connected.
  • Also, check BIOS Boot Manager under boot devices to see if the card is part of the bootable devices.

I ended up finding how to setup the raid card, the new server boards has in the bios under pci configuration uefi option rom control. inside of there you find the raid card. From that menu you can configure the raid controller.

in the documentation for the board and raid makes no mention of this option, so for people that have building intel servers with a raid card still think there is a crtl r option. The documentation should be updated with the proper steps so as to help others not have this problem anymore
