Hello,
We would like to inform you that we created a virtual machine successfully with Microsoft HyperV loading Win 2016 as a test.
Please let us know the specific hardware configuration you have on your system along with the steps you are following to create the virtual machine.
Windows 7 like virtual machine successfully installed, but i still cannot install Windows Server 2012 R2 or Windows 10.
Configuration
Server - Intel R2312WTTYSR
RAM - 32Gb, 1 CPU
lsi megaraid sas 9280-16i4e and hdd 12*2Tb Raid 10 and ssd 2*224Gb.
For correct server work, enought to enable VTx.
Can you tell me difference from your BIOS settings and default BIOS settings? May be problem in my BIOS settings.
Hello,
We would like to inform you we were able to load Windows 2012 R2 and Windows 10 without any problems. The BIOS setting is in Advanced> Processor Configuration> Intel Virtualization Technology> Enabled. That is the only setting required at a BIOS level for virtualization.
