Intel Trusted Domain Extension (TDX) Support

Hi everyone,

I have a couple of questions regarding Trusted Domain Extensions (TDX):

  1. The description of the processor Xeon Gold 6433N in Security & Reliability says it supports Intel® Trusted Execution Technology. Does that mean that this processor supports TDX? Is the Intel TXT the only indicator that the processor supports TDX?
  2. This GitHub issue (link: No Sapphire Rapids Xeon supports TDX outside of major hyperscalers · Issue #399 · intel/tdx-tools (github.com)) says that the TDX support is coming in Emerald Rapids (5th Generation Xeon Scalable Processors) and is not available in 4th Generation Scalable Processors. Based on this Intel post (link: What Intel® Xeon Processors Support for Intel® Trust Domain...), TDX is available on Edge Enhanced Compute (EEC) variants of 4th Generation. Is there a list of these processors or a way for me to easily identify these processors from this list 4th Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors, or does none of the listed processors support TDX?
  3. Is there a way to identify a processor that supports Intel TDX Connect? Or can I assume that if a processor supports TDX, it supports TDX Connect?
  4. Is there any 4th Generation Xeon processor available today with TDX support?

Sorry for the long list of questions.

Thank you for all the help.

Kind regards,

Danko
