Intel ® Workstation Board S5000XVN/XSL and GTX-770

Hi, i have a dual xeon cpu E5335 2.0GHZ 8MB L2 with 8 gb ram and geforce 8600gt with 680watts psu and i recently bought the GTX-770 so i installed the GTX-770 the server starts but the screen remain off, i want to ask if a bios update will possibly solve this?

updating the bios would probably not help. you can find a list of video cards that will work on that board at http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/sb/CS-022650.htm Server Products — Tested hardware list, though,

The last BIOS v98 that will ever come out for that board was published three years ago, at https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=19610&ProdId=2308&lang=eng&OSVersion=&DownloadType=Firmware Download Center. You may already have the latest BIOS, it's worth checking just in case.
