Hi i have a Dell Server (PE 1900) which has an intel Xeon Quad Core 5320 processor installed. We recently installed some extra memory to this Server to bring the total amount of memory to 10GB however the operating system only seems to register 4GB. I believe this is to do with the 32 bit operating system and the question is now can i install a 64 bit version of SBS 2003 to allow the other memory to be utilised, what else do i need to consider.

My questions:

1. Is this processor 64 Bit capable?

2. If the processor is 64 bit capable does this mean the motherboard, memory etc is 64 bit also or is it not as simple as that? how can i check for 64 bit capability?
