Hello Communauts,
I would like to ask you if the LGA 3467 for Xeon SP and Xeon Phi (KNL) is physically and electrically the same.
I would like to understand if I am able to put on the same motherboard a Sp or a Phi without changing anything else.
If the answer is positive I would like to know if the Xeon Phi KNL are allowed to be installed on multiple socket motherboars or not.
Thank you so much in advance

Hi Jetstream,
In regard to your compatibility question between Intel® Xeon® Scalable and Xeon® Phi™ x200 processors.
The socket type on both processor families are very similar; however, they were built with different technology and it is not possible to use both on the same board.
Scalable processors require boards with Intel® C624 Chipset and Xeon® Phi™ x200 processors require boards with Intel® C612 Chipset.
I hope my answer resolve your question.
Regards,
Miguel C

Dear Miguel,
Thank you for your answer.
I was afraid of that and you confirmed my feeling...
