M10JNP2SB to NEC PA243 incompatibility

I'm trying to go from the M10 DisplayPort to the DP input to the INTEL monitor.  The M10 says it can't see a DP monitor and the monitor says that it sees no input.  NEC knows that it has a problem with Brand X DP->DP cables going from some Apple and some ATI Radeon vid chips.

I'm using a CablesToGo DP->DP cable and I have on order an adapter to try to go from the M10 DP to the VGA input on the monitor.  I have high regard for C2G.  It would be a blow to learn that it's not deserved.

Thanks very much for your prompt response.  Several years ago, you walked me through the process of selecting a M10 as an alternative to an INTEL Workstation.  I have an E-2278G processor.   I really like it.  It's very stable, but it seems to be a bit slower than a high end Gigabyte gaming machine.  I looked at the specs and it looks like this CPU does have "Intel® UHD Graphics P630".  The VGA output works.  What is a BMC-KVM?

There are no particular graphics cable brand recommended for this board or any other. It is supposed that any generic cable should work fine. About the cable/adapter combination it is difficult to tell because of the extra device added to the equation. Something else to consider is the processor model used. The Xeon E2236 CPU does not have a a Intel UHD Graphics P630 output, so the primary way to monitor should be through the BMC KVM console. I recalled that one of the driver installations failed.  I just downloaded INTEL UHD Graphics Driver and tried it again.  It fails with the message "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software".  I have an E-2278G, 32 Gig RAM, and an SSD with 110G free space.  Is that my DisplayPort problem?

The BMC (Baseboard Management Controller) is the internal management that allows you to monitor the system remotely through a web interface. You have to configure it in BIOS first though. About the Display port, looking at the rear layout of this board it looks like there are 2 Display Ports right next to the other. Have you tried both of them?
