I am configuring a new system with 4 SATA drives on a S3200SHV server board. I want a RAID 5, so I have configured the bios for Intel Matrix Storage. I entered the RAID bios and set up the RAID. The RAID bios says the volume is not bootable, and there is no option to change it. The board's bios doesn't have a boot option for the RAID. I'm trying to install Windows Hyper-V Server 2008, and it won't install till the volume is bootable.
How can I get this to work?
Additional info: I updated the bios to v47. All 4 drives are 1TB.

Hi there,
Actually, i am thinking that this could be due to limitation of the software and then OS limitation as well.

Try to create a raid 5 volume less than 2TB, and let me know if there is any difference.
If yes, this is the reason. As far as i know, i never come across Bootable No after creating a new raid volume. I did see it when i had a failed raid array.
I have attached a screenshot as a reference for you.
All the best,
Regards,
Aryan
