New Intel Smart battery AXXRPCM2 not detected by SRCSAS18E

Was getting low battery, time to replace warnings by raid web console. Purchased new, inserted ok, server has been up and running now for about 2 hours, but still says no BBU present. I triple! checked connection. Array is fine, but is not in write back mode. Any ideas? Or did I just get a bad battery? The memory (256megs) on the battery IS being reported correctly in RAID web Console. Does it just take a long time to charge, then it gets detected? I cannot find much info, any help, suggestions would be great TY.

There is a 5-pin cable that connects the battery pack and the circuit board. Make sure it's firmly connected.

I'm having the same issue. Was the battery detected after charging or did you have a defective battery?
