Hi,

Dear All,

I need inputs on which would be a better choice performance wise for Oracle 10G with RAC : OLTP Scenario.

We have the Choice of Intel Processor : ( In total we need to restrict ourself to 8 Cores per server and 3 servers in total ) .

(i) Four Dual Core 7140N per server

(ii) Two Quad Core E7330 per server

Would upgrading to Two Quad Core E7350 make difference in comparison.

What all should we look for an objective comparison in this case.
