I was just told that the pcie gen 3 16x is locked. Is this true and is there a fix? Trying to take advantage of an NVIDIA GPU.

Judging from the technical advisory http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/sb/CS-033827.htm Server Products — TA1021: PCIe* Gen 3.0 Add-in Adapter Support Issue , I don't think the x16 has anything to do with it.
