RAID-Webkonsole-Utility findet keinen Controller, MR_MONITOR stoppt

Hallo

ich baue einen Server Windows SBS 2008 auf mit dem board Intel S3420GPV. Hierzu gehört ein Raid Controller, den ich gerne über die Weboberfläche administrieren will. Die Installation der Software RAID-Webkonsole-Utility für Windows* (aktuelle Version und Version auf der CD probiert) funktioniert, aber es wird kein Server gefunden. Ich habe schon mehrere Varianten (standalone-Server getestet). Der installierte Dienst MR_MONITOR stoppt sofort wieder und meldet "No Controllers found".

Es sind 2 RAID Verbünde vorhanden (2 mal mirror), die ich über die BIOS Oberfläche eingerichtet habe.

The GPV is the value SKU, which doesn't have a BMC or FRU/SDR. I think that only works on the GPLX, GPLC, or GPRX

You are right, that board does not have any BMC or FRU/SDR (I am not quiet sure what kind of controller these are )

But it has a build in SATA RAID controller (Chipset Intel® 3420).

So which Software do I use to administer this matrix RAID under the Windows UI ?

Yes, there is no iBMC for the value board S3420GPV, there is no IPMI support.

I guess that Intel Storage Matrix Manager wil be the only software to see your raid.
