I have a SRCSASRB raid controller installed on a SBS2003 Server with 4 x 250gb sata drives in one raid 5 array.

On Friday night an alarm starte one second on one second off and a red LED flashing at the same rate. I shut down the system and in raid bios found that disk 0 had a problem and was in red while the rest of the drives were in green. I obtained a new drive this morning and installed it in the place of the old drive zero.

Where to from here.

My previous experiance with raid 5 was that the system recognised that there was a replacement and automaticaly askes if you want to rebuild the disk.

I you can help please do or if you can let me have a link that will give the procedures that should be followed.

Regards

TOM
