/community/openportit/server/ask Friends,
I have Intel motherboard S1200BT and chassis SC5650DP ...the problem is that the motherboard turn the case fans at maximum cooling. The room where the server cannot be located from the noise of the fans. Can someone tells you how I can control the fans.
P.S. Fan settings in the server configuration (number, position, etc.) to nothing.

First of all, SC5650DP is not designed to use with S1200BT. Check the S1200BT http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/s1200bt/sb/CS-032457.htm Tested chassis list.
You may try to update the http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Server+Products&ProductLine=Intel%C2%AE+Server+Boards&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Server+Board+S1200BT&DownloadType=Firmware BIOS/firmware and see if it helps.

Unfortunately tried all possible options, updated the BIOS / firmware, tried different configurations of cases but nothing works, control acoustics in the BIOS is not available.
I conclude that the board is broken.

Which chassis did you select when applying FRU/SDR? By default all fans will run at full speed when "Other" chassis is selected.
