hello,

Last week I bought a new S1200BTLR motherboard and use a Xeon E3-1230V2 with it.

When I switch it on, after 5-6 seconds the status led blink orange and diag led show 0111-0000, then it stay like that without anything on screen.

Motherboard PBA is E98681-352 and should be compatible with the E3-1230v2

When i remove DIMM from the MB i get me some beeps.

I try the CPU on other MB and it work fine.

need some help

thanks in advance.

What kind of memory are you using?

Seems it's non-ECC DIMM. The board requires ECC DIMMs. See the http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/sb/CS-032418.htm Tested memory and hardware list for supported DIMMs. But ignore the Registered DIMMs in the list - the board supports unbuffered DIMMs only.
