I'm trying to enable SGX on a S1200SPO MB with an E3-1270. I asked in the SGX forums here: https://software.intel.com/en-us/comment/1891969 SGX support for S1200SPO
The BIOS version is: https://downloadmirror.intel.com/26334/eng/ReleaseNotes_BIOS_R01.02.0023.txt https://downloadmirror.intel.com/26334/eng/ReleaseNotes_BIOS_R01.02.0023.txt..
Interestingly, there is a line in there: 03. [EPSD100028435] Delete SGX Option in setup.
How do I enable SGX on this motherboard? Is there a special BIOS update?
Thanks,
Josh

Hello jbdatko ,
Please try the suggestions provided at https://software.intel.com/en-us/comment/1891969 https://software.intel.com/en-us/comment/1891969
There are API's (the enabling and launch control function) that helps you to enable the Intel® SGX device in BIOS are:
- sgx_enable_device
- sgx_cap_enable_device
